About Project

O.M.G. Private Pain In Public Schools is a book and stage play that addresses some of the pressures that face our youth today and the private pain they carry.

The story focuses on sixteen year old Petrice and her best friend Ternella who goes “rebellious”.  Petrice, a new Christian, tries hard to shine her light in High School. Trapped in her own cycle of physical abuse by her Mother, Petrice pushes her pain aside to help her friends around her. But when Ternella gets tangled up with a bad news boyfriend and Petrice witnesses the constant bullying around her, it soon spirals into a head on collision that’s tough for any teenager to handle. No nonsense Teacher Tanis steps in and sets her own curriculum “O.M.G.” that changes the lives of her students forever. She’s a tough teacher with a big heart, and her classroom becomes a beacon of hope for students who come to terms with their troubles, faith and friendships.

O.M.G. Private Pain In Public Schools performed in Brampton, Toronto and Ottawa.
